This is a useful budget option if 32GB of RAM matters more than storage or a newer processor. The $419.91 refurbished Acer Aspire 14 has 16GB RAM, a Core Ultra 5 226V and a 1TB SSD, so an extra $79.92 buys four times the storage but half the memory. The new $729.99 HP OmniBook X Flip has 16GB and 512GB, plus a larger convertible display. Here the compromises are the older i7, a small 256GB SSD and Good refurbished cosmetic condition. Battery health is unspecified; the one-year warranty does not establish how long it will run unplugged.
